Never Underestimate The Real Gothic Rag Doll Stories

By Phyllis Schroeder

Everyone loved stories. It has been our all time favorite. It is because it can awaken our senses. It makes us rekindle on what was the story about. Thousand published folktales appear in comics, storybooks and many more. But, these specific ones always catch the attention of the public.

However, never did we know that there are some eerie histories about it. The classy old fashioned ways of playing with them were fading away. It is because Gothic rag dolls were one among the spooky stories that are ever told. They were not just ordinary stories, yet are real ones.

You see, the dolls are a human like figure that are crafted as toys. Kids reenact their perceptions of how people communicate with each other. They treat their dolls as their playmates.

For sure, you already have heard about the tale of Annabelle in a form of a movie. It was a true story. It happened to a certain apartment where years before its construction, a girl named Annabelle was found dead. She had a doll beside. Nurses that saw such brought the doll and began calling it by the same name. It has been thought as possessed by the said girl.

The settlers willingly accepted it. But, as time goes by, it becomes even more eerie. It began to be seen in many other places in the house. It had been usually placed on the bed. At first, it seemed nothing. The appearance became even more complicated. It appears that it is as if having a life of its own.

None of them were successful. So, all of them decided to donate it to the Occult Museum since it has attempted to hurt one of their colleagues. On the way home, these teens jokingly were talking about it, something bad happened. It led to a deadly accident. One died while the other remained in the hospital for more than a year.

Also, there was a story of Okiku. It was the one whom Eikichi bought for his sister, Okiku. The little girl, named it after her own name. It became her best friend. She will carry it anywhere until she died from influenza. It remained. It was placed on the altar in memory of her. But, to their great surprise, its hair grew continuously.

There was also one whose name was Buck. He used to be a favorite playmate of a young lad named Bert. Until, the boy grew to be a man. Buck was left inside the cabinet. Strangely, on his eighteenth birthday, the doll fell down from the cabinet with its legs standing on the floor. This continued to happen every year during his birthday. This brought fear in him. He brought it to the house of antique museum. The story behind why it fell with legs upright remained a mystery.

All these are true. But, not all dolls have something in it. Just be mindful about it. You might not know what kind of spirit has the control of it. In having one, pick wisely.
