The minions are the creation of the Universal Pictures, who first produced them in the movie Despicable Me. Other than the physical characteristics and their appearance they are found to have some physiological appearance too. For example with a crack and shake they can be a useful tool in the dark as they work as glow sticks, can be very helpful while moving through ventilation ducts. They can also survive without oxygen as one of them is seen in the space without the oxygen mask in one of the movie.
