What Does The Path To Salvation Mean For Mankind?

By Lelia Hall

It is God's plan that everyone enjoys a life where people worship him and live according to His ways. Most people always look for satisfaction from the outside things forgetting that real satisfaction comes from having content in God's ways. After the man had sinned in the garden of Eden, God had to create a path to salvation that man would get back to Him.

According to the word of God, man has to be born again to go to heaven. Jesus said that, for anyone to get to the Father, they had to go through him first. When Nicodemus sought Jesus' answers on being born again, he told him that he had to be born again so as to see God's kingdom. Through salvation, man can reconcile with God.

To accept Jesus Christ, the Bible says you must acknowledge you are a sinner and be ready to follow Jesus. Every man on earth has sinned against God. It is because all have fallen short of the Glory of God and as a result man must have an advocate. The advocate who will allow him face the glorious throne of God and that advocate is Jesus.

When we decide to live a life that pleases and satisfies our sinful desires we will be condemned to death. It is because sin puts a separation between us and God. Hence, we are destined to hell. However, when we get saved, we will enjoy eternal life with God. But the Bible gives hope to the human race by providing his only son Jesus Christ to come and die for our sins so that we will inherit His Kingdom.

The Bible clearly spells out how God gave his only son to save mankind from the burden of sin that over weighed man. Before the coming of Jesus, humans used to offer animal blood to atone for their sins. But that changed when Jesus carried our sins on the cross and was crucified for our sake. His death and the blood he shed was for the restoration of the broken relationship man had with God.

Salvation is a clear testimony of the love of the Lord to human beings. Deliverance is the best way that man would live a life free from the bondage of sin. We cannot fully understand how God operates, but we know that His love for us is more than anything we can compare by worldly standards. Salvation offers hope in the times of distress. It gives faith to the faithless and restores broken relationships.

Paul, one of the greatest apostles of all time, is a living testimony of the wonders of salvation. It took the repentance for Paul the apostle to become the greatest preachers and missionaries that spread the word of God. After the resurrection, Jesus made it clear to the disciples to go to the world and preach the gospel of salvation to every corner of the world.

In conclusion, deliverance cannot take place without cleansing with the blood of Jesus. It creates a new relationship between mankind and God and gives us a leeway to communicate with God. But the first step to always achieving salvation is by accepting your sinful nature and repenting.
